Mr and Mrs Makhubalo's 30th Wedding Anniversary

I am one for big shows of affection and what's bigger than a 30 year anniversary. Dimpho dragged me off to Mr and Mrs Makhubalo's 30 Year Wedding anniversary in the leafy Suburb of Bayswater. We were ushered in by particularly friendly ladies who showed us our way to a beautifully decorated table: Table Number 14.
We were treated to a healthy serving of speeches on marriage and how to build long lasting ones. From the 8 Bridges of Long Lasting marriages to a humorous speech by Ntate Makhubalo's brother. I could help myself from laughing! That was a definite high point. My favourite speech of the night was Mom's Rosie's speech! Not in memory do I recall so moving and inspirational a speech. Her choices of words and emotions spoke volumes about the sort of person she is, her love for children, husband, family and friends. It nearly brought a tear to my eyes! Her kids have done her proud and I felt privileged to have shared such a wonderful experience with everyone that was there. I even adopted a cutie pie baby! Baby Kazimla! Wishing the happy couple many more years together!
So inspired to get married and love everyone wholeheartedly!

Food: 10 out of 10. We were spoilt for choice, well seasoned and generous portions. The cooling fresh and free flowing Juice was greatly appreciated as it kept us cool and hydrated during the ceremony. I love the Non Alcoholic sparkling juice.
Decor/Ambience: 10 out 10 Great guests who enjoyed the ceremony and were lively. I love the decor thanks to its african flair, the tent was cool during the afternoon and warm at night! I appreciated that!
Venue: 10 out of 10. It was held at the happy couple's magnificent matrimonial home
